Our shop, conveniently located in Filey Town Centre, provides cycle hire, repairs & accessories to visitors and residents
***BUSINESS DURING COVID-19*** LAST UPDATED 4th May 2021
Our business is now running as normal with additional safety measures in place, as you'd expect. We've noted below a few other things to be aware of:
SERVICING/REPAIRS - There is still a shortage of a small number of parts across the country so, if you require a part that we don't have in stock, you may experience a longer wait than we would like.
SALES - Clothing, gloves and helmets can be tried on with the fitting room fully disinfected between each use and items subject to 72 hours quarantine after being tried on.
SALE OF BIKES - SUSPENDED. Due to ongoing issues in the supply chain, we do not expect to be able to sell bikes for the foreseeable future.
HIRE - Due to current high demand, we are limiting hire to drop-off/collection within 5 miles of Filey only.
TUITION & EVENTS - Private tuition (one-to-one) is now available again, both for cycle maintenance and cycling skills. Social cycling events are available through Active Filey https://activefiley.co.uk/.
HYGIENE/SAFETY MEASURES - We are asking everyone who enters the shop to wear a mask, unless they are exempt, and also to apply hand-saniser on entering the shop. Please also follow the anti-clockwise one-way system, unless directed otherwise by the team. There are 2 metre markings on the floor to enable everyone to adhere to social distancing and sneeze screens in place at the till area. We will continue to regularly disinfect all surfaces and items that are touched. When we are delivering/collecting, we will be disinfecting bikes and maintaining social distancing.
