Just so that you know, before you hire a bike that we do ask you to commit to our terms and conditions. These are designed to protect you and to keep our bikes in good condition for the next customer. You will be asked to read our full terms and conditions when you hire the bikes but here’s a summary of some of the main points:
We ask you to declare that you are in good health, that your eyesight is up to the standard of a road driving test and that you are not suffering from any medical conditions or disability which is likely to adversely affect your control of the bike
We ask you to declare that you understand that cycling carries a degree of risk and that you aware of these risks
We ask you to avoid any route or activity which is beyond your level or skill or unsuitable for the bike itself
We ask you to lock your bicycles to an immovable object with the locks provided whenever they are left unattended
We ask you not to take any bikes onto the beach. Bikes taken onto the beach will incur an additional cleaning/maintenance charge
We offer you the hire of a repair kit and pump but if you choose not to repair any puncture acquired during the hire period and need us to come out to you, a charge may be incurred
We will need to take details/swipe of a credit/debit card as a form of security deposit. No charge will be made to the card, except in the unlikely event that the bikes are not returned within the agreed hire period or are returned with unreasonable damage.
