If you fancy making a local walk or bike ride more interesting, especially for the children, then check out Treasure Trails. There is a walking treasure hunt around Filey & a cycling treasure hunt in Scarborough. See the website for more details and where you buy the trail of your choice. The Scarborough trail can be purchased from us when we deliver your bikes for £6.99.
If you're wanting to explore a little further afield and you're not into distance cycling, then jumping on a train with your bike is a good option. In fact, one of our recommended routes involves the short train journey from Filey to Bempton. Follow the below link to find the train times:
Whether you are deciding whether to hire a bike, what route to take, or what to wear on your ride, check out the weather forecast here. However, we should say that the locals tend to just look out of the window on the day, as Filey does seem to have a climate of its own.
