This circular route explores the town of Filey, touching on sections of the established Heritage Trail with plenty of discoveries for the children, including fun places for them to stop for a break from cycling. It is mainly flat with a few short hills, which young children may need to walk up. The route avoids busy roads, though does include a number of small with light traffic. In order to enjoy some of the scenes and facts, the trail takes you onto several foot paths, which can get busy during peak season. There is a wide variety of stops at every point on the route. You can just ride the route and make your own discoveries but, if you would like to ride it as a treasure hunt, you will need to download the worded trail instructions as well as the map.
